I have a serviced amplifier V7000. Please, tell me – should it be an electrical connection between the front panel and chassis ? I think not.

I don’t understand the reason of the question: do you have a noise problem or is it just curiosity about to circuit-chassis-interfacement? However, all metal parts are grounded to the chassis.
