First of all, I hope you are well and doing ok. I am writing to you again. I am slowly paving my way on the Grundig/CCI way.
I had many nice Grundigs and also sold many. I kept a few Grundig miracles which I am very fond of. I have three pairs of Box 300 which I really(I mean really, really) like. The boxes are connected to V30 amp and cd35.Two way speaker system in my room has the ability to disappear totally, coupled with the transparency and very real and wide scene. Your website and the forum is the place where I found tons of very useful information. Thank you very much. I haven’t written on the forum yet, but I might.
I have one dilemma. One of my Box 300 has faulty tweeter, so I was wondering if the driver from Box 320 can serve as a donner? I know they have the same code, but I heard somewhere that the drivers are not the same. I have the opportunity to buy Bose tulip stands, so I have a question: So far, I was using other boxes as stands, for example I use Box Aktiv 20 as a stand for Box 850ap. Do you think if I purchase the Bose tulip 901 I will gain in terms of sound with more freedom and transparency? Bose stands cost around 200e where I live.
What is your opinion about Grundig ps 3500 turntable? I haven’t found any information on the forum and the website. I know your favourite turntable is ps 1020 but it is practically impossible to find.
I am interested in purchasing a CCI cd player from you. Do I have to send you the cd player or do you already have a stock? I am also interested in LT amp, but I am still collecting the money. The purchase might happen next year.
Do you have patreon? I feel like donating some money for all the advice you have given. Please don’t get me wrong, I just appreciate your work and time.

The tweeter of the box320 is the same as the box 300 and… a forum (if you would write in) is to help for this kind of information 😀
As a support for the 850a box, the tulip is much better than using the aktiv box20 … it must be installed as indicated here, however:

Even the ps3500 with its supplied cartridge is a good turntable, the grundig turntables of that era are all valid with the supplied cartridge but the ps1010 and ps1020 are preferable for some details including not least the Shure cartridge (and stylus). I have normally the PS1020 available but shipping a turntable in Serbia in the face of the delicacy of the lid is no joke …. it is too risk. Different speech on the cd player I may also have available as well as it may be possible to modify the your … you should tell me the model (or send me photos of the interior) for know the modificability. However, my modification has a higher cost than Grundig cd players ….
I don’t have a patreon (I had to let my daughter explain to me what a “patreon” is … before tonight I didn’t know) but the thirty years of work that It took me to understand the reasons of the Grundig sound…those yes, have a cost.

Thank you very much for the very prompt reply. I have checked the link you sent, I have read it many times already. That’s the reason I want to buy the tulips. I don’t have a preferred cd player. I will trust your opinion. I will write to you again as soon as I collect the money, then I will think my option. I might come to Ravenna next year, then the transport of the cd and possibly turntable will be easier and safer. The price of the cd modification is 500e if I’m not mistaken. Please, open the patreon account, it may come in handy for the people willing to support your research.

The choice of a cd player is very dependent on your habits, the main advantage of a modified reader is the remote control that is not available on Grundig cd players. And if you want to go even a bit further in quality, the modified CD650 and the modified CD960 can permit this. The cost of the modification is correct. If you plan to come to Ravenna next year you will be able to listen the final result of LT system and the compared result between different CCI cd players.
