I am interested in comparing the audioanalyse c900 to the grundig xv 7500. I had a grundig v5000 amplifier long ago sold on ebay to italy. I did not like the V5000 hmmm.
I am curious about your opinion on both the grundig and audioanalyse preamplifiers. I wanted to buy the audioanalyse c900. After reading your website, I wonder if vx 7500 is better …

If you look a landscape through a certain number of deformed and colored glasses would you notice the “improvement” of having one (and only one) of these glasses actually transparent?
I guess your answer is no too … and that’s exactly what happens when inserting a single acoustically transparent element like a full CCI Grundig XV7500 (+ T7500 connected with six pin din cable for the best result, see my preferreds here). If you describe the rest of your system to me, I can perhaps understand better what you are looking for.

Braun ls 150 loudspeakers (during the weekend I will have IMF 50 mk 1, I am curious to compare) Amplifiers: DIY power amplifier on hitachi mosfets, audioanalyse pa90, reciver scott r75s Denon dcd 1500 mkI cd player turntable micro seiki dd-1 cartridge AT13Eax / AT125lc both cartridges with original needles. The Audioanalyse pa90 sounds very good. I am looking for a preamplifier with a good phono preamplifier. That’s why I got interested in the audioanalyse c900 apparently has a good phono preamplifier. I am also interested in grundig vx7500, that’s why I wrote to an expert on grundig :). If I understand correctly, the XV7500 is also a class A preamplifier.

Yes, XV7500 is a class A preamplifier but this is not its strong point but the fact that it is a full CCI preamplifier.
A lot of persons have sold expensive preamps and expensive power amps to compose a full CCI system … if you want to keep your current equipment and just plug in a XV7500 preamp I’m afraid you won’t appreciate its transparency features.
